Establishing Prosectra in 2009, Robert Goris is an experienced, versatile and professional trainer, with an excellent understanding – and hands-on experience – in developing, implementing and delivering specialized safety and security training courses – both in person and through distance learning – to the public, private and humanitarian sectors. He has extensive experience delivering to international organizations operating in high risk environments throughout 5 continents.

With 6 years experience working in the medical field and now 15 years experience working in the field of security, the design, development and delivery of world-class safety and security training is what Robert specializes in and he has spent the last 12 years – with a special focus – on improving the safety and security of humanitarians working in the field.

Timo brings his experience from his 35 years working with law enforcement, international governmental and aid organizations and provides Specialist Training for UN Agencies and INGOs, Executive coaching of INGOs, Management of Kidnap for Ransom Response, Crisis & Critical Incident Management.

Timo joined the Prosectra team in 2021 as an Associate Partner. He is the programme director of the Kidnap for Ransom Incident Management programme KRIM™ and contributes to the research, design and development of best-practice based security risk management training and consultancies. He specializes in managing risks in international high-risk environments, kidnap-for-ransom incident management, security training and has managed specialist teams in these fields for several decades. He served in senior positions with the Netherlands Police, the European Union and the United Nations and has created an extensive network of risk management partners in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and North America.

Timo is a graduate of Scotland Yard’s international hostage negotiation program and a senior hostage negotiator for 22 years on the global stage. He is known for his cutting-edge simulation and scenario-based trainings, aimed at bolstering personal and organizational excellence through creating effective responses to crisis incidents. Timo is a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and an alumnus of the Police Academy in the Netherlands. He is the managing director of TisaMayo International Consultancy and has a network of trusted partners with whom he provides risk management services to clients all over the world.

Ilka Laukkanen (Finland)

Senior Security Adviser

Ilkka Laukkanen (Mr.) is a former United Nations (UN) Security Advisor with over 20 years of experience in security management of the world’s largest international organization.

Ilkka has worked in various senior security management positions in several UN organizations, including UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) in Lebanon, UNSECOORD in Afghanistan, UNICEF Operation Lifeline Sudan (OLS) in Sudan and United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) in South Sudan, Georgia, Pakistan and Turkey.

In addition to senior security management expertise, Ilkka has formal training and long experience in several specialized security fields, including security risk assessment, security training, hostage incident management, residential and office security, field mission and convoy security and VIP protection management. Ilkka holds a Master’s Degree in Political History from the University of Tampere and University of Turku in Finland.

Brendon Largue (Scotland)

Brendon Largue is a senior security consultant and a specialist in health, safety, security, investigations and risk management, and a member of the UK Institute for Security and Health & Safety.

Brendon has an in-depth knowledge of security sector reform and security risk management processes through his work with OSCE Kosovo, CPA, EULEX Kosovo, EUSR Afghanistan, ECHO (Eastern Europe, Near-Asia and Caucasus), the Aga Khan Development Network in East Africa and with WFP in Afghanistan. With a background as a Specialist Police Detective, he brings a wealth of experience in senior security and executive management in high risk environments to Prosectra clients. Brendon is a certified trainer in the field of health, safety and security management. Brendon is an alumnus of the UK Senior Police Command College.

Gábor Bari‬ (Hungary)

Senior Security Adviser

Gábor Bari‬ brings his experience of 25 year’s working in the security industry to Prosectra, first, as an Army Special Forces Officer, SWAT Commander and then as Head of Training for the Close Protection Directorate under the Hungarian Counterterrorism Center.

He has held several other roles including Head of Security for the EU Ambassador in Yemen and as Close Protection Officer and Trainer in various posts around the Middle East.

He is an expert Active Shooter, Hostage Negotiation, Medic and Advanced Driver Trainer and holds 2 Master’s Degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School (Monterey, CA) on National Security Affairs as well as Counterterrorism and Low Intensity Conflicts.

He has also received Special Forces training at Ft Bragg, North Carolina.

John Campbell‬ (United Kingdom)

John Campbell has been in international leadership positions for over 40 years. He has a lifetime of experience as a trainer and manager in military and humanitarian environments and brings experience from being a paramedic and from UN security (humanitarian context) and as the head of security and emergency training for UNHCR in Asia.

He is currently a consultant and trainer in security and medical topics in remote areas around the world and remains Involved in developing response training for aid workers in unstable environments e.g., Kenya, Pakistan, Chad, CAR, South Sudan, Somalia, Lebanon, Burundi, DRC, Thailand, South Africa, Malawi and India.

John has a Masters in Terrorism Studies and is an Emergency Medical Technician. John is a lecturer of Humanitarian Security for the University of Hiroshima.
